Friday Find: Fabric Wraps

A friend alerted me to Chewing the Cud's fabric wraps as featured on the Oh Joy! blog. An eco-smart gift wrap, these reusable 28" cloth squares, $16 US each, are printed on 100% organic cotton with soy-based inks. After the gift is opened, the wraps can be used as napkins, head scarves or of course as gift wrap again.

To learn how to wrap with fabric – called furoshiki in Japan – visit the Miyai Co. website, which features a dozen furoshiki techniques, or find more furoshiki instructions here.
