I was going to select one of the fabulous items from McMaster and Storms Swan and Shears as a Friday Find, but the Etsy shop carries so many lovely things, I couldn't decide! Based in Arcanum, Ohio, Swan and Shears is run out of an 1860s farmhouse and sells "curious supplies for all your crafty endeavours." Owners and friends Darcy and Kara offer a beautiful selection of ribbons, tags and various sweet sundries, many of them from France. I'm particularly enamoured with the cyclist thread cards (top left, $19 US/set of 6), which would make lovely gift tags, as well as the foil paper Dresden Fish (top right, $3 US/package of 3) for humorous yet elegant toppers (they also com in gold and pink). Bottom row, from left: Vintage French celebration ribbon (6-1/8" wide), $14 US/yard, is thought to have been used for the sashes worn by French mayors. Sign language hand tags, $9 US/package of 15. Equestrian stampings, $6 US/set of 5 (as shown).
